Major US carriers AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon reveal their 5G plans

5G is making waves for its ultra-speed and other functions. All three major US carriers have introduced their unmatched 5G plans and to make the most out of it, customers must choose the right plan for themselves. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are introducing low-band 5G this year. By December 2020, customers will be able to enjoy next-generation networks.

For 5G, consumers would need compatible phones. 5G would be available in three categories: low-band, mid-band, and Millimeter-wave. In the initial phase, low-band 5G would be widely available and would be the cheapest package out of all the packages. Mid-band, as the name suggests, will provide frequency between the low-band and millimeter-band. For ultra-high-speed, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are also offering millimeter-wave which will provide over 1 GB per second.

At the moment, T-Mobile has mid-band frequency and the other two carriers AT&T and Verizon are expected to add it shortly. To avail services at AT&T, unlimited plans are available to avail that include Unlimited Starter, Unlimited Extra, and Unlimited Elite. All the aforementioned 3 packages will provide unlimited text and data in Canada, Mexico, and the USA. The price starts at $140/month. For unlimited extra, the price is $160/month and for the elite, $200/month will be charged.

T-Mobile also offers 5G on older plans and the plans from Sprint. It is offering simpler data plans to its consumers as any Sprint user can connect to 5G when connected to a 5G device. It is also providing four lines per month for less than $100. The Essentials plan is available for $120/ month. In order to upgrade your plan, magenta ($140/month) and magenta plus ($170/month) can be used.

Verizon will be providing low-band later this year, however, 5G is available on particular plans. To have the millimeter-wave experience, their top unlimited bundles can be availed called Do More, Get More or Play More. You can start up with $140 per month and for Play more bundle, the price is $180 for four lines. To get more plans, the price is $220/month.
