Other than this, Google Pixelbook i7 has an integration contact with Google’s suite of productivity tools such as Google Slides, Google Forms, Google Docs, etc. It is a great convenience for people like me who have continuous work with these applications.

I am well aware of the fact that the Google Pixelbook i7 is an expensive model than other Chromebooks available in the market but believe me, it is worth its cost. It is a good investment that will last for years without letting you down in any situation.

In short, this Chromebook is a great choice and a premium investment for professional workers or students. This device is available in different configurations, and likewise, their prices differ. The price for 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is around $1,649. 

Such a high price is a drawback for some users as they would prefer buying other laptops such as Macbook Pro and Microsoft Surface Book, which are similarly high-end laptops. 

Storage Capacity 

One of the drawbacks I felt while using the i7 pixelbook is its limited internal storage capacity. The Chromebook comes in different storage capacities ranging from 128 GB to 256 GB. But for a person who needs to deal with large files and media, this storage is nothing as it fills up quickly.

To cater to this problem, I and other i7 users have to rely on cloud-based storage solutions such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or One Drive. However, it is a big hassle. We first need to shift all data files from internal storage to cloud storage and then delete them from our computer, which is a time-consuming process and needs a high-speed internet connection as well. 

Another option is to use the external hard drive to store large files and data, but not everybody prefers the use of it. 

Ports

Another issue that I encounter while using the Pixelbook i7 is the limited number of ports. It just contains two USB C ports and a headphone jack. In short, if I need to attack any more than two devices at the same time, I cannot. Which I feel is quite inconvenient at times.

One way that I have adopted to encounter this issue is to use a USB C adapter. This device increases the number of ports and allows connecting multiple devices simultaneously. However, it is an additional cost, and you need to carry it everywhere, which in the end is inconvenient. 

Pros and Cons

Here are some pros and cons of the Pixelbook core i7 which after personal use and detailed consideration I have observed.

As a Google Pixelbook i7 user, I would say it is a great buy if you do not require a large amount of storage space in your laptop. Other than the storage issue, I found the Pixelbook i7 as a great laptop that provides me with all the features I need. The stylus input helps me do minute tasks in designing with great accuracy and efficiency. Along with it, its integration with Google Suite tools and Android apps is also a feature that needs to be well appreciated.
